How To Help Our Community in India From anywhere in the world

While COVID-19 restrictions are lifting in many parts of the world, it is impossible to ignore the devastation that touches our community in India. India is now reporting approximately 1 million new coronavirus cases every three days, with the daily death toll exceeding 3,293 on Wednesday, according to data from the Indian Ministry of Health.

The country’s healthcare system is unequipped to handle the crisis, but there are things that you can do to help the mothers, children, and families from wherever you find yourself reading this article.

Here, we highlight ways we can support, donate, and give back as a community. Let us band together.

An India-based nonprofit organization that leverages technology to create scalable solutions empowering mothers and enabling healthy children. “We are committed to improving the well-being of pregnant women, mothers, and children in the first five years of their life.”

In response to this imminent threat, Gabriel Project Mumbai staff are working tirelessly in these communities in an emergency campaign called Operation CoVER: Corona Virus Emergency Response to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 and to keep thousands of families from starving.

At the Foundation for Mother and Child Health, all resources are invested towards an innovative community-based nutrition-specific intervention. FMCH aims at empowering every mother and her family belonging to a vulnerable community to make the right food choice by providing accurate actionable knowledge and other associated intensive services.
